LINKS
Here I've collected some of my favourite websites, archives, and online pages! This page will definitely be updated with more links as I come across them.
SITE-RELATED
These are links to different resources I've used to make this site.
- Zonelets - the template this site was built on! It's responsive, and easy to get started.
- The Largest 88x31 Collection on the Internet (by capstasher) - a repository of buttons, some of which feature on my page.
- The 88x31 Gif Collection (by The Cyber Vanguard) - another great collection of buttons!
- blinkes.cafe blinkie maker - an awesome tool that allows you to create your own blinkies.
- GifCities - a searchable database of tons of animated GIFs, run by the Internet Archive.
COOL STUFF
These are webpages of personal interest, which I think are cool!
- The Historical Dictionary of Science Fiction - a comprehensive quotation-based dictionary of the language of science fiction.
- The Internet Speculative Fiction Database - a database of bibliographic information on speculative fiction, including author information, cover art, publishers, and magazine contents.
- The Science Fiction Encyclopedia - a comprehensive, scholarly, and critical guide to science fiction, the fourth edition, published online.
- The Internet Archive - a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Probably one of the most (if not the most) important websites online. Some of the Internet Archive's projects include the Wayback Machine, a web archive launched in 1996, and the Open Library, a free digital lending library and collaborative archiving project.
- The SF Gateway - a catalogue, online portal, blog, and community hub. It is an Orion Publishing Group initiative. One of my favourite pages is the list of SF masterworks, a fun reading list (but not one you should exclusively read from).
- The Journal of Science Fiction and Philosophy - a peer-reviewed, online, open-access journal that discusses philosophical themes and questions in science fiction.
- Chaos Matrix - an online library full of writing on chaos magic and occultism. Please don't take the inclusion of this link as an endorsement of any viewpoints expressed therein; I used to be on this site all the time, but occultism is an interest of mine that I've learned to be critical of.
