As for me, I am a university student who is interested in... a lot of different things! My main special interest is science fiction, but I'm also interested in film and television history, privacy and surveillance, and nuclear weapons / power (particularly in relation to popular culture). I love film noir and horror movies, music, literature, and video games.

My top three video games are Doom (2016), Portal 2 (2011), and The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (2014). My favourite books are A Scanner Darkly by Philip K. Dick, A Fire Upon The Deep by Vernor Vinge, and Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie, though they could all do with a reread by now. I don't know if I have a favourite film director - or a favourite film - but I have a somewhat overblown vendetta against Quentin Tarantino.
